When and where will the IX Ibero-American Biometrics Meeting be held?
The congress will be held from July 9 to 11, 2025, in Quito, Ecuador, at the Sheraton Quito Hotel.
Who can participate in the congress?
The meeting is aimed at researchers, professionals, students, and anyone interested in applied statistics, biometry, and related sciences. Participation is open to both members and non-members of the Ibero-American Society of Biometrics (SIB).
Can I participate if I am a student?
Of course! The conference is open to students, teachers, researchers, and professionals. Special rates are available for students.
How can I register?

What is the deadline for submitting work?
The deadline for submitting abstracts/full papers is May 9. We recommend submitting early to ensure your participation in the scientific program.
What topics will be covered at the conference?
We cover topics in biometry, applied statistics, biology, medicine, psychology, pharmacology, agriculture, and more. It's a very interdisciplinary space!
Will I receive a certificate of participation?
Yes, registered attendees and speakers will receive a digital certificate of participation, and paper presenters will receive an additional certificate.
Will there be social activities or cultural events?
Yes, the program includes social and cultural activities and opportunities for academic networking. Details will be posted soon on our social media and official website.
Can I attend only some sessions?
Yes, but we recommend full registration to make the most of the event.
Some activities may require prior registration or have limited capacity.
Will there be simultaneous translation?
The official language of the congress is Spanish.
